Black Bean Dip

This black bean dip goes great with corn chips, taco salad, and etc.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Black beans
1/2 cup Red kidney beans
1/4 cup Blackberry Brandy
Salt
Water
Italian seasoning
Garlic
Mozzarella
Olive oil

1. Soak black and red kidney beans in water over night.
2. Drain beans and add to a crockpot.
3. Combine ingredients and add enough water to cover the top of the beans.
4. Cook on high for 4 hours.
5. Let beans cool for 30 minutes to a hour.
6. Blend beans and the liquid with olive oil in a food processor.
7. Add bean paste back in crockpot with Mozzarella for 2 hours. Enjoy. 

Imbolc Dinner

Celebrating Imbolc, February 2.


Ingredients:
Pork chops
1/3 cup Olive Oil
3/4 cup Flour
Egg
Salt
Black Pepper
Italian Seasoning
Basil
Pillsbury Garlic Breadsticks
Peas
1 Tbs. Butter
Lemon Bars Box Mix

Main meal:
1. Mix salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, basil in flour.
2. Beat 1 egg and pour on a plate.
3. Dip each pork chop in egg then flour.
4. Heat up olive oil in a skillet and fry pork chops til golden brown.
5. Cook breadsticks according to package directions.
6. Heat up peas with salt and pepper to taste and butter.










Dessert:
1. Cook lemon bars according to package directions. Enjoy.




Whole Wheat Dropped Biscuits



Ingredients:
1/3 cup All purpose flour
2 cups Whole Wheat flour
2 tsp Wheat germ
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp yeast
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
Olive oil

1. In a small bowl combine warm water and yeast and set aside for 10 mins.
2. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
3. In a medium bowl or mixer bowl combine whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, wheat germ,   baking soda, baking powder, and sugar.
4.Add yeast and water to dry ingredients and mix well.
5. Add enough olive oil to coat mixture.
6. Grease pan with olive oil.
7. Bake for 20 mins. Enjoy.

Fried Snapping Turtle



Ingredients:
Snapping turtle meat
Whole Wheat flour
2 Eggs
Salt
Progresso Panko Italian Style Bread crumbs
Gia Russa Italian Seasoned bread crumbs
Olive Oil

1. Flour meat in whole wheat flour.
2. Cover floured meat in egg.
3. Mix bread crumbs together and salt.
4. Fry meat in olive oil to a golden brown. Enjoy.
