Nice moist cake using fresh oranges just in time for Imbolc.
Ingredients:
4 large Oranges
1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips
3-4 Cups Flour
2 ts. Baking Powder
1 ts. Baking Soda
1 teaspoon salt
6 Tbs. butter, softened
1 1/2 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/ cup Milk
Pam or Vegetable oil
Favorite icing
Ingredients:
4 large Oranges
1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips

- Peel oranges and separate each slice. Add orange slices in a blinder. Liquefy oranges as much as possible. If you don't want pulp, filter the orange juice.
- Preheat oven to 400 ° F.
- In medium bowl or Kitchen Aid mixer. Add orange juice,baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, sugar, eggs, milk.
- Add 3-4 cups of flour and chocolate chips. (I used 3 cups of flour and the chocolate chips sank to the bottom.)
- Grease 9x13 pan.
- Bake for 30 mins.
- Let cool for 30. mins-1hr.
- Add your favorite icing.
